Hey Everyone
Today is my first blog in a long time.
Lately I've been sleeping a lot at my Dad's house.
My Mom, Rodney, Justin
& Haley
come over to see me everyday. I love them all.
Last week I talked to Bam Margera
and I wanted to Thank him for teaching my cousin Stephen how to "properly" light his farts on fire.
LOL I also spoke to Dane Cook a few times last week.
If you have a chance to see him or buy his DVD/CD you will not be diappointed, he is AWESOME!!!
All the girls at the house think Dane is a "hottie".

Well last week we also went to Georgia in a RV.
OMG what a bumpy ride.
I slept most of the way.
When we were there the Dr had given me a treatment of a new medicine called Ukrain???
Whatever...the Dr told my Mom, Dad, Shannon & Rodney that I should go home and be with my family, that that tumor was too far advanced for him???
Whatever...now on the flip side of things,
while I was away...my brother Justin
(The Real Apprentice!) put together a bake sale
by word of mouth and WOW what a Bake Sale
it was. You all are great!!!
Thank You SOOOOO much.
I am also looking foward to seeing some of you,
if I'm up for it, at Rifici's
. I heard that there are a lot of tickets being sold.
The restaurant can hold about 300 people
at one time so if there are too many
please be patient and we will get you all in there.
I also saw one of my best friends
, her name is Ellen.
Ellen & her mom brought me a scrap book of many years of our friendship.
It is so special and it means so much to me because her whole family put it together.
Thank You All

Hey everyone!
I have been reading my guestbook and it seems that some people still think I'm in New York.
Just so you know, I left New York on Wednesday.
So we were only there for one night.
Since I didn't get surgery and had to start a different type of chemo, the doctor said it would probably be best to get the chemo in Philly since it is closer to our house.
So the next day we came up to Philly thinking we would only have to stay an hour for the chemo.
However, when they checked my blood, my hemoglobin was lower
than it should be.
So, I had to get my first blood transfusion.
That took three hours.
My mom, Rodney, Haley
, and I were there all day!
When I finally got home I wasn't feeling to good.
My cousin Stephen was at my house when I got there but left shortly after I arrived.
My grandpa Burt came over a little while after I got there and planned on staying the night.
Right before I went to bed I took my temp. and it was high.
My dad and I headed up to CHOP.
We got here at about 2:00 a.m.
That's were I am right now.
Today the hospital had an Eagles pep rally in the lobby that my dad and I went to.
My mom, Rodney, and Haley
came up to visit later in the day also.
One of my doctors
, Dr. Adamson, said that I will probably be able to leave tomorrow.
Tomorrow I have some people coming to visit me, so that's exciting!

I would like to give a shout out
to Absecon Public Schools and Holy Spirit High School for having hat day
and dress down day
and donating the money to The Shelby Richter Fund.
That REALLY means a lot to me!!
I would also like to give a special thanks to Laura Hilbert
and Nick Mancinelli
for putting that all together and for having such great ideas.
And I LOVE the shirts!!
They are awesome!! ![]()
Well, I'm gonna get goin' now, my dad and I are going to go watch Viva La Bam!!
Bye!

P.S. - Justin
, you should have worn your hat for hat day.
I love you with or without the funny hat anyways.

Hey everyone!
I'm up at Sloan-Kettering.
We talked to the doctors and they don't want to do surgery right away.
I really wanted to get it but I trust the doctors enough.
This new treatment is two different medicines taken in one day.
I will get it every week and together it will be about four hours long.
I will also be getting that chemo at CHOP because it is closer.
This hospital is really nice!!
It is so colorful that it makes you feel good even when you're not feeling your best.
Well, since today is my birthday (yippie!!!
!!!) we might go out to do something tonight.
Maybe go see a broadway play or something...???
Well, I have to get going now, See ya!

Hey Everyone!
I haven't written for a while so I will start back at Tuesday.
Well, on Tuesday my shoulder was hurting REALLY bad so my mom called up to CHOP to ask questions since the last time my shoulder hurt it was because another tumor grew.
Anyways, the doctor said that we were probably just paranoid and associate everything with the tumer.
So, we thought it might just be muscle pains and it continued all night.
The next day (Wednesday) my Grandma Maggie came over and brought me GREAT birthday gifts.
I also found out that I was going for my CT scan the next morning and had to drink the really gross contrast.
My mom and I left Thursday at about 7:00 in the morning so we could get there by 8:00.
Rodney stayed home with Haley
and Justin went to school.
When my mom and I got to CHOP, I got the CT scan and then went up to clinic.
When we finally got to talk to the doctors at around 2:00, they told us that when they took a quick look at the CT scan pictures it looked like the tumor grew.
That meant that the chemotherapy treatment didn't work.

Friday, my Grandma Bobbie came over.
Victoria and I were going to go to the mall but then when I talked to Shannon she said that I couldn't because Rodney had a surprise for me.
So, after I got dressed Rodney came to pick me up and Victoria was in the car.
I still had no idea what the surprise was at that point.
Once we got to Atlantic City and met up with Rodney's boss Capt. Larry Ross. He gave me tickets to the Hilary Duff
concert and wrist bands to go meet her.
I was sooo surprised and excited!!!
When we got there we met Hilary Duff and got a picture with her.
Her concert was great!
It was so much fun! Afterwards we got ice cream and then went home.
I just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! to Rodney.
Well, I have to go now, I might write tonight.
Bye!!!

P.S. - I can't wait until my birthday!!!!!
Well, except for the surgery part.
(to me!!)
Hey everyone!
Yesterday I was doing homework and then I was helping my brother with his essay.
After dinner Shannon (my step-mom) and I were looking at a box of pictures that were in the attic.
Then I was putting the good pictures of Justin and I in a photo album.
I was awake and still doing that when my dad came home so then we were just watching t.v. I didn't get to bed until like 3:00 or something.
Today Justin, my dad, and I played this game called Atmosfear.
It was cool.
Now I am just working on my homework and talking to people online.
Later on today I am going to my mom's house. Tonight I will probably just hang out with Haley
and watch tv. Maybe football?
Well, I gotta go work on my tracking essays. Bye!

P.S.- I'm so happy that it snowed!!!!
Hey everyone!
This week was pretty good.
This week was the week that my counts are going to be low.
I've been doing pretty good in spite of the fact that my counts are low.
They aren't as low as the last time so that's really good.
This weekend I can't really do much because I REALLY don't want to get sick and have to go back to the hospital like last time.
Anyway, because my counts were low, I didn't go to school.
My tutor came everyday except for Monday because there was no school then anyway. My tutor is Mrs. Murray. I did pretty good and Mrs. Murray is really nice.
LET'S GIVE A SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO MRS. MURRAY!!
Basically, all week I have been studying and doing homework.
My baby sister is doing great!
She doesn't cry (unless we are giving her a bath) so that's good!
And we can't forget my brother, Justin!
He is doing good too. He worked ALL day today on a project for school.
Monday I am going to school for a half day
and then I have to go to clinic up at CHOP.
I hope I don't have to get a needle in my......
haha!!! Well, (if you go to my school) i'll see you at school!
If not, I hope to see you soon!!
Bye!!

Hey!
I'm finally done with my second round of chemo!
YAY!!!
The
whole week felt like a blur to me.
I don't know if it was from the medication, me
sleeping all the time, or BOTH! haha I got a visit today from Grandma Bobbie
and Great Grandpa Ed
. I met a really nice girl named Nicole.
She is here for
chemo as well.
However, she doen't have the same cancer as me. If Nicole reads
this, I just wanted to wish you well and GOOD LUCK with all your chemo treatments
in the future.
If you ever want to talk call me (your dad has my house number).
I have to go now, I might go to the games tomorrow so if I do...I SEE YA THERE!!

Hey! I slept most of the day.
I was feeling kind of nausious so I got some
medication.
Unfortunatly, I'm not used to the new medication (Benedryl) I normally
take Adavan which works well for me. I went to the tutor but then started to feel very
tired from the new medication.
(Not that the teacher was boring.
) After I woke
up form my three hour nap, Shannon got here with our dinner.
We ate Famous
Dave's ribs for dinner!!!
Mmmm, it was the best meal I have had in a while.
My dad
and I went up to the Connelly Center. I I.M'd
a couple of my friends online.
While we were up there, we rented a couple movies.
One of them was The School
of Rock
. When we came back Aunt Dawn came into the room. We
surfed the web
a bit and called it a night. "Thank you" to everyone that visits
the site.

Hey!
I just finished my second day of chemo for the week. I've been doing pretty well with it.
Except today I felt a little nauseous after it.
The nurse gave me a medication that made me go to sleep.
I missed my tutor. The good thing is, I don't feel sick anymore.
I would like to give a shout out to Mrs. Kim Shick and all of the kids in her 7th grade Social Studies class.
Thank you very much for writing the well wishes to me.
Well, I'm going to explore the hospital now so ...Bye!
